DIS-2 with an Alfa 156?

Hi, I have a spare DIS-2 from my previous car and am wondering it I can get it fitted onto the Alfa Romeo 156. The only information I can get for the ignition system on the car is that it is a static electronic digital system with knock sensors. I'm not too technically inclined and can't tell from sight if they can work together.
