Cam Sync Installation MSD PN 2346

Is there an installation instruction sheet for MSD PN 2346? Are we just supposed to epoxy the magnet to our cam gear and drill a hole in the timing chain cover to mount the sensor? This doesn't seem very accurate, how do we calibrate the sensor to ensure that it is sensing the magnet at exactly TDC? Does the spark plug sensor (MSD PN 7555) work just as well? I'm not sure how it would since the time of firing at the sparkplug is constantly changing with respect to TDC. I've just purchased a digital 7 and I would like some more information regarding the cam sync sensor and the spark plug sensor. Particularly installation and calibrating of the cam sync.

Is the intent of cam sync for fuel injection or for use with PN 7530? If it is for our PN 7530 I would highly recommend our PN 7555 for ease of installtion and plug and play installation. Otherwise you will need to fabricate/custom install the cam sync pickup.
