Last time I talked with Joe this was still in the works because of the solenoid. I have talked to a couple people that have purchased it from Summitt. Is this true? I have the multifunction ignition controller already, will the launch controller also interface with this? I know it uses the same software. Will it controll boost for the entire run? Does it have multiple stages of boost or does it just ramp in the amount that you want? Is this based on time or rpm? Both?

I have been checking the progress of this part since last years SEMA show. My only concern is that the solenoid will be able to exhaust enough air for a large turbo (101mm). The electronic controller that I have now doesn't cut it, it will not limit the boost low enough and consistantly.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, the unit is still in the prototype stages. We have been testing the unit for some time now and we hope to release it some time in the near future.

What is the status on these? We have had one on order for a while now and the car is nearing completion. We need this to be running or we need to go with another unit.

Any idea on when these will be produced?

The 7562 has been released but is currently on backorder. We should have more available to ship by the beginning of March.

We will have more available on 3/9/05 however they are already allocated for previous orders. Keep in mind that product is built according to demand so if you need one I would go ahead and get it on order.

You may want to check with them and see if their order has been filled or not.

Jegs still has not received any. Who is getting the first ones and is it possible to order one through some other supplier?

Cant wait any longer car is done and racing is started!

What parts come with #7562? (control box, electronic air valve)?

Will this controller work on a twin turbo setup?

Alky- It comes with the software, serial cable, control box, wiring, and 2 solenoid valves. Yes, there are directions to hook it up on a twin turbo setup.

I ordered mine from Summit last week and got it in last week. So I know they have them out there.

I have a question regarding this thing though. Will the controller control boost on the street. Meaning can it control boost from a roll, without cycling the burnout wire and the t-brake wire. Or is this strictly a drag race unit?

Stroken331,

No it does have to be cycled on and off to make it function.

Hi:

My question is if I can join the 3 cables that come from the MSD that connect to the MAP sensor to the 3 cables of the MAP of my EFI system for using only one MAP sensor for both.

I just used both MAP sensors, b/c I did not want anything interfering with my FAST system. I have had enough trouble with that thing as it is, don't need anymore.

I made a weather pack connector y harness to connect both my 7531 and MSD boost controller. I did not use the same MAP as my fast box uses.
