View Full Version : Would I need coil adaptor's??

Just wondering if I would need to get some coil adaptor's to make the DIS-4 ignition work properly?? That's what I was told, and I was just wondering if they where trying to get more sales for themself's!! Somebody let me know o.k.!! Thanks!!

What is the application on your vehicle? Year, Make and Model as well as engine size.

Sorry about that, 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue 3.5L V-6 !! It's so I can get a bigger boost from my nitrous, I need to retard my ignition by 4 degrees!! Let me know o.k.!! Thanks!!

If your engine has three dual tower coils that are removable from the ignition base module then you will need the PN 8870 Adapters. If your engine usesan individual coil on each spark plug then you will not need the adapter.

Mine does have a coil for each spark plug so I guess not then, Thanks for all your help, guy's!!
