View Full Version : Digital 6 Trouble Shooting

I have a digital 6 MSD>which is going on its third season.
When I stored the car this winter I disconnected the battery and covered the car.
Well, when I reconnected the battery the L.E.D on th d6 lit up, but the car won't start.
I pulled the #1 plug wire and no spark.
I looked in the book, but all the instructions refer to are applications with an external coil. I have a 427cu. chevy with H.E.I, GM distributor and have the advance set to 35degrees.
This car ran fine until I parked it. Also, the L.E.D. light goes out when cranking.
Any help appreciated.

Make sure the small red wire from the MSD has good voltage during cranking and with the key on.
