No Spark on 4151

I have been using a 4151 Small Engine Controller with 8232 coil on a Jr. Dragster with no issues for 2 seasons. Recently, on initial startup, the engine sputterred then shut down. The LED on the box fires reliably, but there is no spark. Changing to a known working coil has no effect.

I know these units are non-repairable. Is there any other troubleshooting I can do, to see if the box is sending a signal to the coil?

You can send the unit in so we can test it to find out what is wrong. It could be one of two things the Hall Effect pickup is not sending a signal for the unit to fire or there is an issue with the 4151 unit. Please give us a call so we can give you a RMA to return the unit for testing.
