Pro Mag Timing Retard PN 8168 tach output

Racepak tells me the tach output is not large enough to handle my tach, dedenbear shifter and my racepak.

can you tell me what size the tach output is and what the wave form looks like?

I want to make an amplifier for the tach signal

you need a 8132 tach converter.

if you have the above setup and have the same problem call Racepak, they will show you the fix so you don't need the tach converter unit. also with the tach output from the 8168 you don't get the crazy tach readings while on 2 step
