part 8414 Cap adapt

I found this part on summit racing equipment's website. It is called a cap adapt. I can't find it on the MSD website. I just want to know what the diameter of this cap is. The engine I am using is a 1959 Ford 292 Y-Block. It is practicaly the same distributor as used in small block fords. This one enters the block at an angle rather than straight up and down like a small block. I just want to make sure it will fit without any problems. The summit part number is MSD-8414 so I think that your part number is 8414. I am also using a pertronix ignitor II conversion on the distributor. Would this get in the way of the rotor?

The cap is 5 3/8" wide, the same as a late model Ford distributor cap. Our rotor slide onto the distributor cap and is the same dimension as a late model stock rotor.
