7531/Fiber Optic cable

I have a 7531 box that I am about to use. I have the fiber optic cam sync hooked up. Is there a setting in the program that needs to be activated or does this work as soon as you plug in the fiber optic cable? I have looked in the editor features in the help section, but cannot find a definate answer. Thanks for the help!

Once you fire the engine it should right off of the bat. There aren't any settings to turn it on/off. If its not working it will run the highest amount of retard. Lets say you retard cyl. 2- .5* and cyl 5-1* the box will retard all cylinders 1* until the cam sync is fixed.
