I had a 6A in my hand the other day but the guy at the shop said that the factory ignition was plenty hot. I have a Dynomax single in and duel 2.5 out, with a K&N air filter system. How much will the 6A box, coil wires and cap help performance and mileage. Also it's a 2001 4X4 5.9 and not sure I want to go with a chip cuse the gas in upstate is high and the chip needs 93 octane. Thanks

When you have a stock engine with no modification and very low miles, you may not see much gain with the MSD unit. The more modification done to the engine the more efficient the MSD Unit will be. The wires and cap will be a good gain from stock, due to less resistance and more energy to the plug. Normally when installing an MSD Unit, you will see a slight gain in fuel mileage.
