Lt1 crank trigger application

Is there a way to trigger the opti-spark with the crank trigger.
Can an msd 6A be used in conjuntion with a flying crank trigger.
I have a 72 sbc 406. I plan to use the lt1 harness and computer to convert to EFI. I will also be using an LS1 throttle body.

The Flying Magnet Crank Trigger is definitely compatible with an MSD 6A. The GM Opti-Spark Ignition system requires a different type of trigger signal than the crank trigger can provide. The only correct trigger mechanism I'm aware of for an LT1 is the original Opti-Spark distributor. I've heard of the inner workings for this distributor being moved to a different type of front drive distributor although I can only assume this would be very difficult to accomplish.
