 Antron Brown became the first African-American to win a major U.S. auto racing title Sunday at the NHRA Finals! Jack Beckman claimed the Funny Car world championship when he outlasted teammate Ron Capps and took the title by two points in one of the closest point margins in the history of the category. In Pro Stock Allen Johnson capped his championship season with his seventh victory of the year and 16th of his career. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Eddie Krawiec became the newly crowned world champ!
