G2X Service Information
Racepak Data Systems strives to provide only the highest quality equipment to our customers. In the event a problem is encountered, we recommend a review of the G2X installation manual, to insure all user procedures have been met. If you are still unable to resolve the problem, we recommend contacting us by email (link here to my email) or by phone (949-709-5555) as many questions may be quickly resolved using these methods.
In the event a problem is encountered that requires a return of the unit, please contact our tech support department at 949-709-5555 for return instructions.
Warranty Items: If the G2X or related components is under the 6 month warranty period (applicable to the original owner as determined by date of purchase receipt) and the problem is determined to be manufacturing related, Racepak will repair the item, free of charge. If the problem with the G2X or related items is found to be due to installation or other misuse by the customer, repair charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
Insure a detailed account of the problem is included with the returned items, along with a return shipping address, customer name and phone number. Shipping charges to return items to the Racepak facility (located in Southern California) will be the responsibility of the customer, while return shipping back to the customer will be paid by Racepak.
Racepak understands the urgency of racing related components and attempts to maintain a three day turn-around on G2X repairs. If you find you are in need of a replacement G2X package immediately, refurbished "loaner" packages are available. This service helps the customer to quickly obtain a data system in order to return to the track. To obtain one of these packages requires the use of a credit card, to cover the cost of the items and shipping of the items to the customer. The customer may then ship back the original items for review / repair according to the above guidelines. Following repair, Racepak will return the original items to the customer, and the customer then returns the loaner package to the Racepak facility in Southern California. Upon receipt and review of the loaner package, charges for the loaner package will be removed from the customer's credit card.
