Sunshine state my foot! Another cloudy, gray day as we rolled into
the Florida panhandle. We left super early and didn't see any tour-folk
on the road. Coffee and road maps - two things you can't tour without.

Once
we made it to Tallahassee there were some cool sights to take in…

The
Dodge was still making tracks…

…as
was Uncle Robin

Our sister company, Superchips, finally made it out to the show and
answered all sorts of questions about their Tuners for late model cars
and trucks.

When they weren't answering tuner questions the Superchips honchos,
Rick and Adam, were busy selling their latest tee-shirts to pay for
gas to get home.

If you had a booth selling umbrellas this year, you would have been
able to pay for the gas to power a blown hemi to and from Milwaukee.

This family made the long haul up to Milwaukee from Daytona Beach
so they were getting close to home! They had to upgrade their stock
ignition to an MSD system and had a couple other gremlins along the
way, but seems like they had a good time!

We took off just before more rain pounded down and decided just to
hit the road towards Kissimmee. Once again, gloom and gray. After a
treat at the Waffle House for breakfast, everything always looks rosy.

The cruise day in Kissimmee was held at a huge park on Friday afternoon.
Once again,
it took no time at all to fill it up with great looking
muscle cars.

New GTO looks a lot better all dudded up. GM had all sorts of cool
concept cars on display.
Now,
if they would only build them like they
show them!

The long haulers wasted no time getting their prizes at the front
stage.

We also had a long line of people stopping over to get their final
magnet and frame. We have a lot of fun with the daily magnets and we're
glad everyone seems to enjoy them. I'm curious to see what they'll
pull on eBay!

Victor and Adam did a great job on their first Power Tour - thanks
guys. Also, special thanks to our regional sales reps at Bob Cook Sales,
as well as Terry Perkins, Chuck Clayton, Steve Dories and Jim Miller
for helping us out. Unfortunately for Victor and Adam, they spent a
few more days in Pensacola due to a diesel fuel oil pump failure making
the road home just that much longer. (I also had a rough trip home
as my window seat didn't recline.)
Thanks again the Special Events staff,
Hot Rod Magazine and everyone
we talked with on Power Tour!
See you in 2006 -
