
Once the '55, truck and trailer were cleaned up (shameless plug: thanks
to Mothers!) everyone started coming over to check out what goodies
we brought along. Our new LT1 Cap and Rotor kit were the most popular!
Veteran long haulers knew to come over and pick up the Day 1 magnet.

Just
behind us was the newest product of Imagine Motorworks - the Poison
Dart. Who knew a Dart could look so cool.
 
The
Barry Grant company is based in the middle of Georgia, but Barry had
the beach-wagon vibe going with this Ford wagon - surf boards and all.
Note the new dual carb setup on the FE engine - as well as the ignition.
You can't be in Wisconsin without coming across AMC products and these
were two fine representatives.

Our Pro Mag 44's are used exclusively in Top Fuel and Funny Car classes.
If you've ever been bitten by a 6A, imagine what 44 amps, times two,
would feel like!
 
As usual, there were hundreds of cool
cruisers from all over the country
  


Nasty reports of foul weather and a quick down pour scared off
a lot of locals, but the skies cleared and the evening turned into the
nicest one of the week. By dusk (which is seems like 11:00) we
were heading to the hotel and ready for the road!

tour and every stop along the way, Terry knows every speed shop in
Minnesota and Wisconsin and Robin just kept showing up! |
